Joel Lindpere scored in Red Bulls victory over Earthquakes

The MLS Easter Conference semifinals are not decided yet but New York Red Bulls took a big step ahead by defeating San Jose Earthquakes 1-0 on Saturday night. Estonian midfielder Joel Lindpere netted the only goal of the match.

Thierry Henry is still sidelined due to an injury, but the team seems to be handling this situation very good. New York front men are not extremely effective but most of the time they appear when required, just enough to win games.

The second game of this semifinal will take place on Thursday in Harrison, N.J. But if statistics are a reference, we must say that Red Bull won their last encounter there with a 2-0 victory over the Earthquakes.
