Henry focused on the Final, not on his future

Thierry Henry wont be thinking about his Arsenal future on Wednesday as he will be too focused on winning the Champions League final, according to Arsene Wenger.

Arsenal face Spanish champions Barcelona in Paris on Wednesday night, when the two giants go head-to-head in the Champions League last game.

In fact, the result could well play a vital part in the decision of captain Henry whether to pledge his long-term future to Arsenal, who are set to move to their new 60,000-seater Emirates Stadium over the summer.

We must remember that Thierry Henry still has a year to run on his current contract and will make his intentions known before he departs for the World Cup in Germany.

Wenger, though, does not believe that in itself will have any bearing on the way Henry will approach the clash itself.

"No matter what the player does in July, when you go to a European Cup final you do not worry about that - you worry to bring the trophy back," said the Gunners manager.

"I am really convinced that Thierry will stay, but he has not yet come out and say it.

"But on Wednesday game no one cares about that - you want to just go there and win it together."
